Overview
Automatic E-gates are designed to manage the flow of people in supermarkets, stadiums, attractions and other places of mass congestion. Thanks to a wide range of arc sizes and automatic opening and closing, the gate is largely universal.
In retail establishments the product allows creating flow patterns for buyers from and to the store.
The Challenge
Our challenge was to create a system that provides a fail-safe safety solution in case of an emergency or power failure, providing egress during crisis evacuations, with durability that means years of trouble-free passages.
Our Solution
Our specialists created a multi-purpose solution for controlling pedestrian flow which opens and closes automatically, with an anti-traumatic mode when an obstacle is encountered.
Models are two-sided, can stay open when required and in an emergency can be opened mechanically with an effort of 40–70 N·m (anti-panic mode). The gate can also be activated via a control button or RFID card.
