About The Project

FTMO is a Czech fintech company focused on simulated trading and trader education. What began as a local project in 2015 has since developed into a global platform serving traders across more than 140 countries.

The project focused on creating a space where traders could analyze the market and communicate with each other without constantly switching between different tools.

The result combines interactive market charts with real-time community features, creating one environment for analysis, discussion and knowledge sharing.

The Challenge

Trading is often an individual experience. Users analyze charts independently while conversations about market movements happen across separate communities and platforms.

The goal was to bring these experiences together while keeping the product fast and organized even when many traders were communicating simultaneously. The documented project describes handling hundreds of chat messages per minute without performance issues as one of the core challenges.
