Long-Term Heart Rate
Heart rate is followed over a long period, which is the basis for the mental health view.

Based on the Viatom heart rate monitor. The app helps people preserve their mental health by analyzing heart rate over a long period of time. A Viatom HRM was used because the device stores heart-rate values and syncs them with the mobile app over Bluetooth.

Overview
The product is an IoT mental health app built around the Viatom heart rate monitor. The idea is to help people look after their mental health by following heart rate across a long period, not only a single reading.
The Viatom device was chosen because it stores heart-rate values on the monitor and syncs them to the phone over Bluetooth.
The work was aimed at a pitch: an iOS app that could demonstrate that connection and be shared through TestFlight.
The Challenge
A useful picture of mental health needs heart-rate history, not a one-off number. The monitor had to keep those values and hand them to the app reliably over Bluetooth.
The same build had to be ready as an iOS app for pitching, on TestFlight, before a fixed deadline.

Our Solution
We built an iOS app that connects to the Viatom heart rate monitor over Bluetooth Low Energy and brings stored heart-rate values onto the phone.
Those readings are what the app uses to look at heart rate over time, and the build was prepared for TestFlight so it could be pitched on schedule.

Key Features
Heart rate is followed over a long period, which is the basis for the mental health view.
The Viatom monitor stores heart-rate values, so readings are not lost between syncs.
Stored values sync to the mobile app through a BLE connection with the Viatom HRM.
The app is available on iOS and can be shared for a pitch through TestFlight.
The Impact
The iOS app was available for pitching on TestFlight, with a BLE connection to the Viatom heart rate monitor, and the work met the deadline before the pitch.
