ISO-Based Grading
Particle and agglomerate sizes graded against a tabulated system.

A method and software for evaluating the degree of pigment or carbon black dispersion in polyolefin pipes, fittings and compounds, based on ISO methodology.

Overview
The method evaluates the degree of pigment or carbon black dispersion in polyolefin pipes, fittings and compounds with a carbon black content of less than 3%.
The Challenge
We had to create a method applicable to polyolefin pipes and fittings as well as raw material in pellet form, with the choice of procedure determined by the referring specification.

Our Solution
Our team prepared user-friendly, powerful and highly adaptive software with unique concepts based on ISO methodology, with fully automatic and semi-automatic inspection.
Small samples are heated and compressed between microscope slides, examined microscopically and the sizes of particles and agglomerates are measured, recorded and graded. A grading is determined from the average of six specimens and the system generates a rich text report with recorded and calculated data.

Key Features
Particle and agglomerate sizes graded against a tabulated system.
Fully automatic and semi-automatic modes.
Reliable grading from multiple samples.
Recorded and calculated data in a ready-to-share report.
