Online Pharmacy
Customers across Ukraine can browse and select the medicines they need from a single storefront.

Mirko received a request from a Ukrainian pharmacy distributor serving over 250,000 customers across 200+ pharmacy points throughout Ukraine. Initially, the request was for a user-friendly online pharmacy enabling customers to select their required medicines. It evolved into a scalable platform for over 850 company staff members, used by Ukrainians from each part of the country.

Overview
Volynfarm is a Ukrainian pharmacy distributor serving more than 250,000 customers across 200+ pharmacy points. The first request was a user-friendly online pharmacy where people could select the medicines they need.
The scope grew into a platform for the company as well: an administrative CRM for more than 850 staff members, covering customers, orders, campaigns and reporting.
The result is one system for buyers across Ukraine and for the team that runs the distributor day to day.
The Challenge
Customers needed a clear way to choose medicines online, while the distributor was still running customers, orders and campaigns across separate tools.
The platform had to stay usable for people in every part of Ukraine and for a staff of more than 850, without splitting the pharmacy and the back office into two products.

Our Solution
We built a Sylius storefront where customers can find and select medicines, backed by search that can keep up with a national catalog.
The same platform includes a CRM administrative panel, so staff manage the customer database, orders, marketing campaigns and analysis in one place.

Key Features
Customers across Ukraine can browse and select the medicines they need from a single storefront.
Elastic Search keeps product search fast as the catalog covers pharmacy points throughout the country.
Staff run day-to-day work from one panel instead of a separate set of tools.
Customer records for a base of more than 250,000 people stay in one place.
Orders from the online pharmacy can be tracked and handled by the distributor’s team.
Campaigns can be managed against the same customer data the pharmacy already uses.
The administrative panel includes analysis so the team can review customers, orders and campaigns together.
The Impact
The project created an online pharmacy for a Ukrainian medicine distributor and a CRM that works as an administrative panel for customer databases, orders, marketing campaigns and data analysis.
